"Luonde" - The mountain of no return.

It's always a challenge when one decides to publish something, as to whether, what one writes is sufficient and interesting enough for "normal" people to read and appreciate. I have been led by the Holy Spirit to start writing blogs, which may enable others to receive the word of God, or, be inspired to take on the challenge of following Jesus every day! Therefore, I cannot feel if my writings are balance or not, they are inspired by The Holy Spirit.

I see blogs as a balance, this balance comes to me from comments and opinions of other believers or non believers, thus making way for discernment. This posture reminds me of a certain Scripture, which has been on my mind for a few years now: Proverbs 27:2 which says the following:

"As iron sharpens iron so one person sharpens another."

This Scripture is very clear in our approach as Christians, to one another. Be sure that what you say and what you do has been tested by other brothers and sisters! This scripture emphasises one persons ability to sharpen another. In today's politically correct world, this Scripture is so comforting. It speaks of "one person" so it does not fudge issues of whether that person decided they want to be male, female, black or white, rich or poor, or, any other politically correct spectrum! These divisions have been developed to fit our secular and egotistically orientated world! 

A person to me, is one made in the image of God, as defined by God: Genesis 1:27 explains it very clearly, there are no other divisions! (Gen 1:27 [NIV2])

"So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them."

Scriptures cannot be read in isolation of other scripture. They are The Word of God, words He has given us. Clearly, God has related our existence directly to Himself in this scripture. We are created "in His own image"! Further, This definition does not allow for any hybrid versions! We are all created XX or XY as a baseline! It is clear and is practically experienced that variations can occur. These variations such as XXY and others. However, a baseline is derived form the original plan. God gave us that plan. We also need to remember that Adam soiled that plan. Through God's love for us, we were given another plan, a final version. It is simple, "Love the Lord your God with all your soul and all your mind, the second like it love your neighbour as yourself". This is a most intimate request for any relationship.

Ok, so what exactly am I getting at, you may ask? I am only reflecting on the baseline that has been given to us by God in the beginning! There are always points of debate when one looks at "our  human development". What is this human development? It is what people today try and reflect on as progress. Progress such as industrial, information and educational advancements that have been made in the past 2000 years or more. The basic fact we need to focus on here is that there has been no change! Our mission and reason for life is to give glory to God in all we do and all we say. The only change is, the form of man's political correctness! As believers we need to remember, God is never politically correct, He is Sovereign!

Jesus reaffirms this posture! In His response to the Pharisees and the Sadducees in Matthew 3:7:

"But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to where he was baptizing, he said to them: “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath?"

Imagine calling people who have lost their way in life as a "brood of vipers"! Jesus has a vision beyond our understanding. Jesus follows up on this fearful statement to rulers at the time with the following: 

(Matt 5:20 [NIV2]) "For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven."

Jesus tells us clearly, forget political correctness, follow the Word of God!

My reasoning is very simple about following God's Word. In the picture of the guesthouse below, there is a dog on the lawn. Golo was then 14 years old and blind. Golo taught us some very important lessons! Golo enjoyed walking, not around the house, but in the fields and forests of on and near to Softwaters Farm. As long as he knew, you had his leash in your hand, he would lead the way. Faith? Can dogs show faith? Well, how was it possible for Golo to lead us on unknown paths? Golo led us through lands, orchards and forests when he could not see anything! He could not see where he was going, well that is what we thought?

Golo's ability to lead us on a walk, was not only one small marvel, it was a big revelation to us from God! God showed us how he could provide earthly direction to a blind dog. Golo in turn gave us direction, he kept us on the small foot paths. God gave direction to those created, in His own image, (image of God), through a dog! Golo gave us direction he showed us the way! We simply had to follow a blind dog! Although sighted, we walked as blind people following a blind dog! We serve a great God! One who challenges us in all aspects of life! Amen!

Let us go a bit further into this wonder, Here is a supporting scripture. In Exodus 4:11 God confirms this He says:

"The LORD said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the LORD?" 

The Lord therefore, provides us with hearing, speech, eyesight and a sense of smell, you will agree? Well then, He can also prevent us being able to see things, even if we think we can! God withheld speech from Zechariah, through the Angel Gabriel, Luke 1:19 & 20 attests to this fact:

 "19 The angel said to him, “I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to tell you this good news. 20 And now you will be silent and not able to speak until the day this happens, because you did not believe my words, which will come true at their appointed time.”"

How significant is this, there are people who prefer to be blind, those who believe they have created another gender? LGBT, what ever that is? As believers we will love you, as ourselves, irrespective of your self imposed label, bowing to some sort of political correct fantasy!

God does with His people what He must do. he does this to get others to see and understand how Almighty and powerful He actually is! So, coming back to the XX and XY story. Irrespective of your self proclaimed construct. God has designed a way for you. There is no need to relabel the canister you are made in. God made you complete, unique, beautiful and Holy.

Come and follow Him! He who has made us in His own image, has the grace to allow us to make mistakes, to forgive us our mistakes and, to allow us to freely accept His grace and plan, in place of  our own selfish desires!

As Iron sharpens iron so Jesus said, (Matt 10:34 [NIV2]): 

“Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
